I have been communicating with Giganews techs for the past 3 days about not being able to connect. They insist that the problem is not on their end.
I use their Giganews Accelerator and that is when I have the problem. If I disable the Accelerator and use "news.giganews.com" I have no problem. If I use "localhost" to enable the Accelerator then I get this error:
Unable to connect / authenticate server: giganews @ localhost (599 Proxy Error: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 216.196.97.149:563 (599)). |
