Hahaha. And what's the box they put on the outside of the house (similar to a NID for telephone service and right by the NID and electric meter, connected all on the same ground wire)? I guess it's needed for the HSI or the digital cable. I didn't realize there was anything additional needed other than a standard splitter. Does the modem signal have to be filtered from the other cable signals? |

| It's an SDU. An enclosure to protect the ground block and any splitters etc. Not necessary for the service to work but recommended.
How many TVs do you have connected to cable? How many splitters are installed?

join:2008-06-27 Albany, GA | Tech did not show up Thursday. One is supposed to come Monday now. And of course it's storming now have had to powercycle the modem a few times and not all TV stations are working. |
