| Sprint and their email!!!
i am not very happy with Sprint right now.
Sprint SEEMED to be the best service in my area, but now i am beginning to have second thoughts!
first, they don't allow me to change DNS servers, no matter what i do, short of a VPN connection, they intercept the DNS servers. that was the first problem i had with them.
now, their email hasn't been working properly for over a week and a half.
i have too much money invested in them right now to just switch over to another provider.
i am just annoyed with the quality of service and tech support. |

| ...and you will be. Sprint's Service as far as the broadband itself is great. Their customer service is next to nonexistent. In fact it is so bad they are in for 100's of Million's in losses from lawsuits or not Billion's by the time all these class action lawsuits are settled for illegal fee's and charges, and continually overcharging people and not rectifying it.
It's why back when i joined here I went with Millenicom instead of Sprint, and I'm glad I did when I did. Unfortunately, right now Millenicom doesn't have any modems and they are on backorder until further notice. It also looks like they may be setting up to offer their own service in the future. Hopefully that issue will be recitified soon and folks will have another option. I know it's a pain. I've talked to alot of people, and they all say the same things... "I love this service, but Sprint's Billing and Customer Service has mne pulling out the last of my hair!"...stuff just like that. |

| i have a sprint router device that has the sprint card built in and i am able to hook up 4 computers to it (more if i decide to hook up a switch, etc...) so i was limited to what services i was able to use.
in my area, at the time that my upgrade went through, we had access to verizon, alltel, and sprint.
i knew i wasn't going to go with verizon, bad experience and not many towers. i didn't know anyone that had alltel, and i had a few sprint broadband cards with no issues at all.
sure enough, after i spent the money, signed the contracts AND was out of their 2 week return policy...thats when i noticed all this stuff.
the DNS thing really pissed me off, but we rely on email, and having emails arrive 3 hrs later isn't cutting it. |
