| Check out Titan Quest, its pretty much the best Diablo style game since Diablo. Also maybe look into Loki though I think that may have content that isn't really family friendly. Then, of course, the king will take the throne once again when Diablo III is released -- 2.66 Core2 Quad | Asus P5W-DH Deluxe | Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer | BFGTech GeForce 8800Ultra 768 | 2GB Corsair 800Mhz DDR2 | ThermalTake Tough Power 850W | ThermalTake V1 'Butterfly' Heatpipe | ThermalTake Tsunami chassis | 150GB WD Raptor X | |

join:2007-12-17 | reply to dauthiatull Fable has been out for a long time for PC, I've played it so I know it's true. However, if you are looking for a click-fest action-RPG like Diablo you wouldn't want Fable as it is more of third-person FPS style gameplay. |

| reply to dauthiatull Titan Quest Sacred Dungeon Siege series Divine Divinity Beyond Divinity Avencast: Rise of the Mage Loki Silverfall Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition
I think out of the games listed Titan Quest, Loki & Dungeon Siege 2 are the only games that offer some sort of multiplayer with Titan Quest needing a more beefier system to play on. |

| reply to dauthiatull Are you looking for a fix until Diablo 3 arrives? What about Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate and their sequels?
Titan Quest is supposedly the best Diablo clone, but I've never played it so I can't confirm that.
Icewind Dale II was written by the same people as Netherwinter Nights II, and is supposed to be pretty good. It's predecessor wasn't that great, but this one got good reviews.
Dungeon Siege is another good one, very Diablo like and came out 2 years after Diablo II. -- If people taste like bacon, doesn't it follow that bacon tastes like people? |

| reply to dauthiatull I dont think NWN series can be classified as hack and slash. I have both NWN2 and Titan Quest, the latter is much better in terms of action and likeness to Diablo.
I think TQ was released around the same time as WoW? Maybe that was why no one paid any attention to it. It's very underrated though, can't stress that enough. |

Titan Quest is the closest thing to a D3 before D3 was announced. Despite the fact that Iron Lore is out of business, there is still a very active and dedicated TQ community. |
