| [Rant] Fedex Sucks!!
Package shipped Monday for overnight delivery. Scheduled delivery date of 6/24. Goes from CA to TN where it sits all day on the 24th. Finally gets to Spokane early on the 25th and gets trucked to Pasco. Sits in Pasco all day and they say it will be delivered on the 26th now. Why offer overnight shipping when your not able to deliver? This isnt the first time I have had issues with Fedex overnight and this is the last time I will ever use them for any of my shipping needs. UPS FTW!! |

| reply to dispatcher21 I don't understand all these shipping company rants. I've NEVER had an issue with shipping. I've never waited more than three days for a package and that includes international shipping! |

| I bought an authentic Dell 9 cell battery off of eBay from someone in China for $100 including shipping. I think shipping was listed as $30? I just know I got a killer deal. 9 cell batteries are listed for $300 (not including shipping) on Dell's website. |

| Oh, China, that explains it .
Was it from Hong Kong?
They also got a killer profit, those batteries can be found for like $15 at fairly low quantity. . |

Yeah, I assumed that. We both won then.
I still can't believe Dell wanted $300 (!) for it. |

| reply to Jahntassa said by Jahntassa :Not another one.. No kidding... It's a wonder any of them can remain in business based on the handful of errors they have every single day ! Doesn't matter that millions of items get delivered successfully each day though. Hah ! FedEx sucks, UPS sucks, DHL sucks, US Mail sucks, and so on and on... People should just drive to the location they bought the item from and avoid all that trouble ! |

| Yeah, I'll just drive 16 hours out to pick up a fan, I mean come on. These companies screw up a lot. People pay for service and they don't get it. Look, if they can't deliver as promised, don't advertise you can do it! Take extra money for it and not deliver on time as promised is wrong and a violation of your contract. FedEx drivers are particularly snide about it because as a driver told me once when they delivered a package 10 days late, "hey, I'm just a contractor man", as he walked away. |

| So anything less than 100% error-free means they shouldn't make claims or promises ? As I said, drive and get it yourself then... You'd get it quicker ! Will it cost less ? Not likely...
To say "these companies screw up a lot" is ridiculous. UPS, which is the biggest, delivers 15.8 million packages each day. If they make a mistake with 15,000 packages, that's only 0.001% of the total daily packages. If you're one of those 15,000 recipients, sure it sucks, but 15+ million other people got theirs on time ! |

| reply to Hall No, don't even. Look up the complaints not only on this site but all over the internet. Call your local, JUST LOCAL, Better Business Bureau and see if you're slanted opinion still tries to hold even a drip of water. Get it yourself is the most rediculous thing I've ever read argued. Get in my car or get on a plane to China or the East Coast? Give me a break. Don't advertise what you can't fulfill. |

| reply to dispatcher21 Can't you request a refund for the shipping if the service you requested isn't met?
I know I've done this before when I sent something express or something and it went outside the parameters. If they don't meet the timeframe, you get refunded the additional cost.
There are some restrictions, of course, but those should have been stated when you tried to ship it that way. If you were trying to overnight to the north pole I'm sure it would have told you that it wouldn't be there in a day... |

Of the 2 times that UPS has either misrouted a package, or had airplane issues for a next day delivery, Newegg has refunded the shipping charges both times. |

| reply to dispatcher21 Have you taken the time to CTFD, then call them and request a refund for not meeting their delivery commitment?
All shipping services screw up. As long as you have proof that your package was not delivered according to your airbill/receipt stating when it would arrive (such as a printout of the tracking status showing the dates/times/locations of the package), and it was not for reasons beyond their control (such as weather preventing planes from taking off or trucks leaving the depot), they will refund your money.
If you're nice to whomever you deal with, you may even get a voucher or two for free future shipments, or at least a credit toward it.
Scan and post your proof here (redact the addresses/phone numbers of you and the recipient). Then, let us know what happens after you *calmly* speak with FedEx about it. -- There is no giant fur-bearing trout. |
