Thats exactly what im going to do, im going to try out what comes with it. I have a metal roof on my house, so that ought to be a big enough ground plane. :P

I may need some extra stuff though. I have to get the antenna onto the roof of my two story house, and the amp and adapater cable to connect to the EVDO card on the first story of the house. Im not sure how much extra stuff ill need to accomplish this or what the limits of this system are as far as cable length.

He has really good quality cable and very good prices. Because the Cyfre amplifiers use software driven amplification they will compensate for Rf loss in cabling and connections up to a point so any run under 100 feet you can use Low Loss RG58 ( LMR200). You do not have to spend a fortune on LMR400 .
