The antenna that comes in the kit is an outdoor antenna , The amplifier is 2 lbs by itself . You are buying a full kit that includes an Ac adapter , ++++. For $200 you are getting $300 worth of stuff. the antenna that is included in the kit goes for $40 b y itself .Usually all you need is the antenna that comes in the kit . Just make sure it is on a metal ground plane. Don't buy the directional antenna yet . Wait till you try the one included . It is a great antenna.
