| reply to jed1154 Re: Cyfre signal booster...where can i buy it?
I didnt see that it was 5 lbs....my fault. Im used to amplifiers that are 'small' by comparison, so the cost caught me off guard. Is teh antenna that comes in this kit suitable for outdoor use? I have NO signal in my home (at least none that the card can pick up. Im in a fringe area, and the setup i have now is an omni directional antenna, that works, but not that well. I get a great connection, but the card will not send and receive data for anything. If i bypass my current setup, the card works great. Im asking because it seems as though others that purchased this kit used a directional antenna to really isolate the signal.
Thanks for the info! |

| The antenna that comes in the kit is an outdoor antenna , The amplifier is 2 lbs by itself . You are buying a full kit that includes an Ac adapter , ++++. For $200 you are getting $300 worth of stuff. the antenna that is included in the kit goes for $40 b y itself .Usually all you need is the antenna that comes in the kit . Just make sure it is on a metal ground plane. Don't buy the directional antenna yet . Wait till you try the one included . It is a great antenna. -- www.MaximumSignal.Net |
