| [TWC] Time Warner Cable Upgrade in Centerville, Ohio
Earlier today there was a Time Warner Cable (TWC) technician in my neighborhood. I had asked him what he was doing. He said he was upgrading the cable. He gave me the following information: The Centerville/Bellbrook area will be the test areas for all new "true" digital television. There will be many new digital networks launching as soon as: JULY! There will be more high-definition (HD) channels launching as well. TWC will also be increasing Road-Runner (RR) speeds. He (the technician) had said that my neighbor would be on a separate tier. This would be almost no interference from my neighbor.
This is all because AT&T will be rolling out their "AT&T U-Verse" service very shortly.
So be watching for a major announcement rather shortly about this from Time Warner Cable. |

| I'm in Centerville and really hope that what you say about becoming a test market comes to pass. I've been doing tons of research on Uverse and it just doesn't sound like it's ready for prime time. The Uverseusers forum is full of people with complaints, especially about the HD quality. For many years I've been with DirecTV and ATT for land line and DSL service. I'm ready to compare TWC's programming and "triple play" options. It would be nice to be able to save a few dollars. |
