Anything that can be considered Mexican food in any way within the borders of Orange County is fair game to be covered at my blog. Yes, I know full well that Taco Bell is just fast food and that they themselves only claim their food to be "Mexican-inspired" but it is only one out of almost 200 places I have covered so far. All sorts of places get covered, such as holes-in-the-wall in Santa Ana, upscale places, fast casual places, ice cream places, and I'll be covering a taco truck this coming Saturday. The people who have a wrong view of my site are the people who don't look around and soak up all the treasures that are to be found there. |

Another thing I should is that I post guest reviews at my site and am always looking for reviews from people who have an in-depth knowledge of Mexican food. |

And thanks for realizing that my Taco Bell coverage represents only about .04% of all the content on my site. |

Of course if you think Los Angeles has no good food at all then it doesn't really matter. |

| reply to MotherNature I guess I could also start a blog about all the wonderful food in Victorville.
Any time somebody says something like, "Oh, there's no good food anywhere in Los Angeles or in such-and-such a place," and they are basing their opinion on perhaps 20% of the total restaurants in said region, and probably in reality a much smaller percentage than that, they're really just trying to show how elite they are and their opinions mean very little. |

| There is a great mexican place right next to the adult book shop... (no really, I just can't remember the name right now). But other than the chains, that is pretty much it. Nicky's in Apple valley, and there is a brewery out there too. I think the Waffle Iron finally went belly up. I wouldn't waste your time coming up here for another 5 years as things settle back down, and some more mom and pops start up again. |
