| Shaw Modem Resetting?
Hi, over the last few days my Modem has been resetting by itself quite often. When it resets it will get stuck @ Send with it blinking and nothing else. However, when I unplug it and plug it in several times it will work again. Can it be that my modem is busted? Connection Problem? Something to do with Shaw? |

Call Shaw. Your modem may be getting low RF levels, or the modem itself may be on its last legs. Give them a call and they can see just how frequently it's happening and whether it's RF related or not. |

Send flashing indicates that the modem is trying to find an upstream channel. Motorola DOCSIS modems can transmit between 32 & 55dB if your retun levels are out of this spec you may get this problem; also, low upstream SNR can also cause this. Call Shaw and ask them to check. |
