[Speed] Problem with Upload Speed in Houston Area

I'm curious if anyone in the Houston area has gotten the upload speed increase. I am still consistently seeing around 240 Kb/s, my downloads are fine. I am provisioned for the 6/1 according to Comcast.

Modem information...

Name
WebSTAR DPC2100R2
Modem Serial Number
206805849
Cable Modem MAC Address
00:18:68:e4:cd:e8
Hardware Version
2.1
Software Version
v2.0.2r1256-060303
Receive Power Level
-1.1 dBmV
Transmit Power Level
45.0 dBmV
Cable Modem Status
Operational

From my understanding, those numbers are good.

Does the WebSTAR have a log section that tells you the name of the config file being downloaded to your modem?

Not that I have access to, it's locked out to the customer.

Multiple times per day, no change in anything.

Go to this URL:

»192.168.100.1/_aslvl.asp

Set the Access Level to 2
Password: W2402

You'll be able to see the other pages for a short while before it locks back up and you have to repeat this URL to do it again.

Was your upload in the 300 Kbps range before? What cable modem you have?

Thanks a lot for the reply deke40! That's exactly the modem I have from the times with RoadRunner. I have rebooted it several times (along with my router) and the upload is still stuck around 360 Kbps What could be wrong? I have called several times tech support and they keep saying we have 'fixed' it and now try ... I live in the Seabrook area

Any help would be appreciated.
