Thats only if you pay the $300 upfront fee, otherwise it's $209.99! Most people would call it highway robbery.

I think the 500Mb daily cap would be the bigger issue for me though. Back when I had DirecWay, they advertised speeds up to 1800 down, which is/was fast enough for general web browsing. But I couldn't download a windows service pack without exceeding the daily limits.
Yep, hell even some games in today's world, just UPDATES exceed that!

Very, very true. I just downloaded almost 3 gigs from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace yesterday.

I'll stick with my 8/2 Comcast connection for $43/month.

And I'm sure there are some who think $57 for 8Mb traffic shaped/capped service is ridiculous.

It's SRS and those prices are in line for SRS. No one is making subs buy a $180 plan just like they're not making subs buy Verizons $140+ plans or $400/mo T1s.
