| New CT user - modem question
We just got the 256K service at our lake cabin in Missouri. We signed up to pay for the CT modem - the first one died an hour after set-up but that's another story. So is the lousy customer service. My question is that I see quite a few Westell 327W modems on ebay that are cheap. Is that a good way to go? It would be great to have wireless and not have to pay CenturyTel $24/year for the wired modem. |

| It's always something to think of.We bought 1 on ebay just paid a little bit more since it was new.The only thing was that it did take some trial and error until it was set up.This modem was for Bellsouth.Another 1 i have is for Verizon and that one also worked good to set up.The easiest one i have tried was a 2Wire 2700 but this is always a personal thing depending on your knowledge with modems.Bottom line: I suggest Ebay.Good Luck |
