Is there such a thing as paint-on electrical insulator? I have an antique car that has a broken turn signal "circuit board" and i need to insulate exposed wires in situ. thanx. -- waiting for sig-spiration |

| Something easy to find and that will do the job is exterior silicone caulking. Wear latex gloves when you're forming it around the wires. Make sure that the wires are really clean beforehand and don't move them for 24 hours after you've put it on.
I presume from your post that you don't want to disconnect the wires, otherwise I would suggest heat-shrinkable tubing instead (1 or 2 layers as required). |

| reply to toplevelpot What you're looking for is "liquid electrical tape." Here's an example - but any decent electrical / electronics supplier should be able to hook up up...
