When I got home last night there was a Cox tech at my neighbors house. Apparently everyone on my street was having this issue. After about an hour of troubleshooting and being on the phone, they found the issue. Apparently one of the 4 nodes coming into the neighborhood was out of service and for some reason all of our modems where still trying to connect to that node instead of rolling to an active node. (this is what the tech said the people on the phone told him, he did nothing at the site.) So they moved us to another node , we restarted the modems and everyone was up and it is still working 24 hours later. |
