| About time.
I'm surprised they didn't launch this earlier to try and compete with Surewest and it's 10/10, 20/20, and 50/50 internet plans. But then again, Surewest doesn't serve as much of Sacramento as AT&T U-verse does. |

| reply to kilometers Bring it on !! It will only be a matter a time before FiOS in the area kicks it up a notch....sorry no DOCSIS whatever can compete w/FTTP..nice to see that competition is paying off for everyone in the form of faster speeds.... unfortunately this is only where there is REAL competition. |

| reply to dvd536 Sorry but Surewest is anything but "useless". I've had their service (10/10 and eventually 20/20) from the moment it became available in my neighborhood (over 2 years ago) and I've never had a problem with the caps. I do alot of newsgroup and torrent downloads.. usually don't really abuse it.. maybe about 300-400GB a month. Never heard a word from Surewest. Even when I had a roommate he downloaded ALOT of stuff, and from MRTG stats I found that between us we downloaded 1TB in one month. Not a peep from them.
I've had nothing but enjoyment since getting Surewest. |
