Television isn't that important to many people. And more and more people are discovering that HDTV via a rooftop antenna is not only free, it is also better looking than what is delivered by MSOs. These people (we) have no use for such huge bandwidth. |

These people (we) have no use for such huge bandwidth. Can't say I agree with anything here. The Fios tv forum certainly shows a lot of people that find it important.
As one who has DirecTv, Fios tv is something that is desperately needed here. Comcast thanks to a lot of "shady" reasons, does not share the feed of their RSN to satellite companies (CSN PHL), meanwhile they share every other RSN. Fios has CSN PHL.
I am not sure many people want to go back to roof top antennas either.
The need for bandwidth from even average people is increasing at faster rates due to many forms of content over the internet now. |

One channel atually gets a higher signal strength when it's raining. But storms have never affected my OTA signal where I didn't get a signal. the picture is the same as when the sun is out. |
