Re: ISDN cannot connect!

In my experience the ISP probably isn't running to separate authentication systems for ISDN and it's dial up business, so in order to test my username and passwords without the complications of ISDN I would use a modem and phone line to call in and test.

But like fozngoof, I'm just throwing ideas out

Might double check the user name again, on both ends.

Make sure it is "UserNameHere" and not "UserNameHere@IspNameHere"

Sometimes you might need the whole thing.

Also double check for differences in lower-case and upper-case spellings in the user name and password.

Just throwing ideas out there.
Yeah, I already tried all combinations of username and password. The weird thing is that I have had tech support on the line, they see it connect, authenticate successfully, but then it just drops. They dont know why. Ill check about adding the suffix at the end.

That may be the case. The ISP, IgLoo, does offer dial-up and ISDN services. Ill check with them to be sure we are not confused on what service she has here.

Thanks for the ideas guys. Ill let you know what I find.

The ISP is most likely Iglou at »www.iglou.com. When I had ISDN, they were my service provider, and still are for dial-up. They don't particularly care if you're calling in ISDN or POTS, but your account does have to be set up for dual line access. They are a great bunch of people and have always provided top notch service.
