Had my FIOS here in Arlington, VA (just outside DC) since June last year. Very happy with the service. Initial installation was shaky but been rock solid sence. Just before I moved to my current apt I had Comcast whom I hate and asked if they would offer me a deal if I stayed with them. They choked and I sent to VZ. Now I get flyers at least twice a week from Comcrap begging me to take them back. Yeah right! |

With TW now discontinuing newsgroup service, and verizon still having their free included one for FIOS, it's a complete no-brainer that I am going to FIOS as soon as it becomes available here. Well, if it does.

| If they could just actually provide the download speeds they advertise (not just at 3:00am Sunday Morning)& not have constant outages, improved their network, improved their support...I would be ecstatic. In so many areas peak times are as congested as the plumbing pipes during Superbowl halftime. |
