|  Does your ISP network status page actually work?
Comcast's works sometimes and sometimes not. Unfortunately, when there are real problems with the network, that is when the system seems to have the most problems pulling up the status page.

The alert is not very useful. It says something is wrong, but not what.

In my experience, no. They either say "Everything is fine" or sometimes something is up but never any info like you note.... no workarounds, timetables, ETA on outages, etc |
