I was thinking I have told him to check for viruses/spyware, told him to switch servers to something more local, debunked his theory that a router that refuses TRACERT is somehow losing packets and he still wants some other advice when it hit me I had not explicitly said "Run AVG 8, and Spybot Search and Destroy 1.5.2 followed by housecall.trendmicro.com" yet.

| I have ran avg an spybot s&d but just as a side note I reformatted and reinstalled just to be safe. I talked to Charter tech that came to my house an he said there is no other route or switch for me to connect on just the node I was currently attached too.
As far as the servers go, regardless of time zone there is just a cluster housed in a location , ie: 50 servers in cali where 25 may be cst 25 may be pst |
