anon : Ok so I have the 10MB package with Charter and when I test my speeds on Speakeasy.net/speedtest I get 10 - 14mb down and always 1mb up. The problem I am having is I am getting 300+~ constant latency ingame on any given server. So I tried the tracert us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com idea an it seems im losing packets on a dallas based qwest jump or w/e. Ive called an talked to charter tech support an I even made an attempt to call and talk to Qwest but no one seems to understand what im talking about. My latency used to be 90 - 130ms now its 300+~ ms an spikes to 2k.

This is a tracert with a 2k spike

Tracing route to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com [12.129.224.117]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 9 ms 14 ms 5 ms 10.176.128.1

2 16 ms 16 ms 15 ms 24-159-71-137.dhcp.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.71.137]

3 22 ms 24 ms 32 ms 172.21.28.225

4 24 ms 27 ms 22 ms 24-159-64-34.static.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.64.34]

5 36 ms 46 ms 35 ms kcm-edge-13.inet.qwest.net [65.120.164.81]

6 * 47 ms 47 ms dal-core-02.inet.qwest.net [67.14.2.61]

7 46 ms 48 ms 47 ms dap-brdr-02.inet.qwest.net [205.171.25.18]

8 48 ms 48 ms 48 ms 192.205.35.53

9 79 ms 79 ms 82 ms tbr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.87.210]

10 87 ms 79 ms 79 ms cr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.18.229]

11 82 ms 79 ms 81 ms cr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.28.178]

12 78 ms 82 ms 79 ms tbr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.19.214]

13 77 ms 86 ms 77 ms 12.127.3.189

14 157 ms 79 ms 80 ms 12.122.255.74

15 80 ms 83 ms 80 ms mdf001c7613r0004-gig-12-1.lax1.attens.net [12.129.193.246]

This is a tracert with a 700ms spike

Tracing route to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com [12.129.224.117]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 7 ms 5 ms 6 ms 10.176.128.1

2 17 ms 16 ms 15 ms 24-159-71-137.dhcp.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.71.137]

3 22 ms 20 ms 21 ms 172.21.28.225

4 23 ms 22 ms 21 ms 24-159-64-34.static.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.64.34]

5 35 ms 37 ms 36 ms kcm-edge-13.inet.qwest.net [65.120.164.81]

6 59 ms 48 ms 46 ms dal-core-01.inet.qwest.net [67.14.2.53]

7 46 ms 48 ms 46 ms dap-brdr-02.inet.qwest.net [205.171.25.14]

8 49 ms 47 ms 47 ms 192.205.35.53

9 79 ms 80 ms 80 ms tbr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.87.210]

10 81 ms 93 ms 83 ms cr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.18.229]

11 84 ms 81 ms 79 ms cr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.28.178]

12 79 ms 79 ms 81 ms tbr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.19.214]

13 79 ms 95 ms 79 ms 12.127.3.189

14 80 ms 78 ms 80 ms 12.122.255.74

15 78 ms 83 ms 80 ms mdf001c7613r0004-gig-12-1.lax1.attens.net [12.129.193.246]

This is a tracert outside of game just now

Tracing route to 12-129-224-115.attens.net [12.129.224.115]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 5 ms 6 ms 5 ms 10.176.128.1
2 7 ms 7 ms 7 ms 24-159-71-137.dhcp.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.7
1.137]
3 16 ms 13 ms 11 ms 172.21.28.225
4 14 ms 13 ms 13 ms 24-159-64-34.static.jcsn.tn.charter.com [24.159.
64.34]
5 26 ms 26 ms 26 ms kcm-edge-13.inet.qwest.net [65.120.164.81]
6 37 ms 36 ms 38 ms dal-core-02.inet.qwest.net [67.14.2.61]
7 37 ms 40 ms 36 ms dap-brdr-02.inet.qwest.net [205.171.25.18]
8 37 ms 37 ms 37 ms 192.205.35.53
9 69 ms 70 ms 70 ms tbr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.87.214]
10 71 ms 69 ms 76 ms cr2.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.122.18.197]
11 70 ms 69 ms 69 ms cr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.28.178]
12 72 ms 69 ms 69 ms tbr2.la2ca.ip.att.net [12.122.19.230]
13 70 ms 70 ms 69 ms 12.127.3.189
14 71 ms 71 ms 70 ms 12.122.255.74
15 71 ms 69 ms 70 ms mdf001c7613r0004-gig-12-1.lax1.attens.net [12.12
9.193.246]

Please also note that I am losing packets while outside of game as well.
