Vonage call quality on Time Warner

Tomzer1 @rr.com	Vonage call quality on Time Warner Well it is possible that Time Warner is throttling the quality of your Vonage service in order to sell their Digital Phone. Of course one thing that Vonage needs to educate people on, and one thing that some crabbing customers don't understand is that Vonage's call quality depends entirely on the quality of your internet service. I have Time Warner Cable in South West Ohio and my Vonage quality is excellent here in Dayton. Although I suspect it might get better still if I upgrade to their new Road Runner Turbo service for more bandwidth. I haven't seen any evidence of them trying to throttle Vonage voice packets, though.

ed56 join:2008-01-13 Cincinnati, OH ·Vonage 1 edit	I also have TW in SW Ohio, (Cincinnati) with Vonage. Have had great results with Vonage, and recently re-negoiated my packge with TW for about a 19% reduction in price and the addition of the Turbo service (2 yr. contract vs month to month). As far as improved quality on Vonage, had great before and still great, so no way to compare.
