Since posts for satellite equipment for sale, trade or wanted, placed in the appropriate forum here at BBR are very unlikely to get a response, welcome to the official, satellite stuff for sale thread.
Feel free to make one post here for any satellite equipment you are looking to unload or acquire. Here are the ground rules:
1. Post only about satellite equipment for sale/trade or wanted.
2. This thread is for consumers only, no dealers. Posts by dealers pretending to be consumers will be considered spam. Posting spam is the best way known to be banned from BBR.
3. Make exactly one post giving the information about your sale/trade/wanted stuff. Follow-up is to be conducted by IM or email only, not within this thread. If you need to amend your post beyond the period of time you can edit it yourself, IM a forum host to do it for you. Do not use the "hey mods" button for this purpose!
4. Do not respond to posts within this thread. Contact the author via IM or email. Responses in this thread will be deleted.
NOTE: Posts from anonymous users that do not contain an email address or some other way for them to be contacted will also be deleted because the only way to contact that person would be to REPLY IN THE THREAD!

I have a 6000 with dish and pole mount. I know shipping would be very high, but I thought someone might need the modem or parts, it has not been used since Aug of 2007 but was working when I switch to cable. I also have the 4000 modems with power supply both of them worked before I upgraded to the 6000 system. If interest in any piece or part just IM me.

For Sale - ~3 yr. old used .98 meter Direcway SP dish, 1 watt transmitter, feedhorn, az/el cap, et al. Out of service two months ago.
Local pickup only in NW Indiana. Too hard to ship without damage.

.98 Dish / HN-7000S Modem/2 Watt for sale
I have finally aquired broadband in my area so I will be selling my hughesnet system . I can sell the whole thing or piece meal it out . Its 2 years old but looks in mint condition . Its still currently operating as I just paid one months service . Its the 2 watt transmitter , .98 dish and HN7000S modem . I can include cables . The power supply is the heavy duty 45 watt as compared to the light duty 25 watt on the 1 watt transmitters . You can write me here or direct at brn2bw@yahoo.com . I have already paid out the contract so I am on a month to month basis with my subscription . I should have said the modem is only one year old , not two . I have pictures of it all . thanks

I have just switched over from HughesNet (Galaxy as it is known by up here in Canada) to DSL and I'm looking to see what I can get for this 7000S modem sitting here beside my desk... it's less than two years old and works perfectly. I'm assuming that the dish etc. on the roof would probably be too expensive to ship and I would have to pay somebody to go up there and get it down... my days of doing that kind of thing are over. To be honest I don't really know how much to ask for it... there are refurbished ones selling on eBay for US$399.95 but I'm not sure how realistic that is.
I don't think there is much point to trying to sell it locally as Nova Scotia is well on track to providing at least Wi-Max province wide by the end of the year. There is a bit of a race on at the moment... we were patiently waiting to hear from the cable company about Wi-Max when our TelCo popped up with DSL.
Any advice, help. tips, info. will be much appreciated. |
