| When my PS was going bad on my v1, my diag light would come on. I would suggest finding a replacement, preferably one from Linksys. They need to make sure it is the 5v 2amp. I switched mine out with my old La Fonera router PS and it is rated the same and the pinout is the same. It works great even more than a year later. |

| well, i unplugged the power supply and now it doesn't even work. lol
and i can't find anything around the house that has the same voltage... i'm curious, a 9V 2A power supply wont work would it? It has to be 5V, right?
any links where i can find a replacement? all the ones i've looked at are for later models... |

I depends on what you router to do - create smoke or work as a router. You never want to use a high (or lower) voltage on any device. |
