| [Wireless] which one needs more attention
hi all just wondering between the password in the login and the shared key in security which setting is more important and need to be more secured thanks in advance -- ASUS P4P800SE, Intel P4 3GHz, 2GB RAM, XP-Pro(SP3), IE7 (default), FireFox, 80G disk, Symantec AntiVirus, PC Tools Spyware Doctor(non AV). |

I would assume the above is for the WEP or better yet WPA(2) security...
Real answer is BOTH if the above assumptions are true.
The first one secures your router to keep people from changing your router config.
The second secures the PC to your network. One without the other is virtually useless... You might be able to argue the router password is more important but to me - it is both to a equal level. |
