I was a hold out for a long time and have finally succumbed to IE7. Probably better security. Of course, I only use Firefox 3.0 unless I absolutely can't.

I do not use IE unless website does not show up correctly in Firefox.

I use IE6 and FF. They each have their charms, but for me the biggest issue is that way IE7 changes the way it opens the "Favorites" window. That really slowed me down so I went back to IE6 for routine browing.

On the other hand, I am rapidly become a Greasemonkey addict so I use FF for those applications where I need to do a lot of repetitive functions. There is nothing quite a sweet as pushing a single key and watching your brower work away for the next fifteen minutes.

I have IE 7 but rarely use it, Fx here. I don't use IE enough to really care whether it's 6 or 7. IE 7 seems to work fine.

I only use Firefox (have been a nightly tester for it since 2002). When I did a complete reinstall of WinXP with the MSDN Retail release of XP Pro with SP3, I chose to not upgrade to IE7 (nor WMP11), leaving the standard XP IE6 in place (though I did accept all the updates from Windows Update). As long as they keep producing security updates for IE6, I'll just let it sit there since the only time I use it is for Windows Updates.

I used to see IE7 memory leak. I found I had to close all IE windows every so often or the memory useage would get enormous.

But somewhere along the line that problem has gone away. I leave a bunch of tabs open for days at a time now and never see any memory leak.

I have Firefox installed too. But, out of sync with the tinfoil hatters here, I use IE7 all the time except for rare occassions when a web page won't open in IE but does in Firefox.

I still have IE6 on my primary home machine, my laptop, and my work machine. I use Firefox on all three and for the very rare occasion that a page just doesn't work in FF I usually can just use the IETab extension. So I see no reason to change my IE to a newer version.

I'm withholding several locations, because the web based apps they rely on were developed on IE6. If I allow 100 PCs to upgrade and wind up 10 or 20 additional small and unsolvable problems a day, I will put my head in an Easy Bake Oven.

I blocked upgrades and am holding my ground until, well, sometime.
