[Wired] RV082-Export / Import Preferences File

Under System Management, there's options to either Import or Export the RV082's "Preferences" File as a backup method.
Does this Preferences file include ALL RV082 settings, including all Static IP assignments ( including MAC info of all connected devices ( I have PC's, DLINK network webcams, and a Slingbox), port forwarding & port triggering rules/assignments, etc, or just the very basis ISP connection info or RV082 basic setup data?

Reason I ask is whether, in the event the RV082 dies, would using the Import function on a replacement RV082 ( or RV016) truly replicate all the current RV082 settings, such as the static IPs and port forwarding rules.

Running original firmware of 1.3.2 ( if it ain't broke, don't fix it)

PC clients connected are all XP Pro, SP3
Slingbox connected
4 DLINK 5220 webcams connected
Remote access turned off
RR Cable access, Motorola Surfboard Modem

Thanks for any info that can be privided, "help" in the manual provides no detail on preferences contents

My assumption is it does renew all settings. One point however the settings may or may not work with different firmware versions. So if you get a replacement router that has newer firmware you'd have to flash down to the 1.3.2 for the restore to work correctly.

Everytime I flash to a newer firmware I save the current settings before I flash to the newer version. If you have a lot of settings this makes things a breeze.

Thanks for the info, that is what I hoped it was as I have lots of info to save. Excellent point on the firmware version affecting the settings, I've read that firmware changes often lose settings. Thanks again.

I accidentally shot myself in the foot recently and locked myself out of my RV082. A factory reset followed by importing my previously saved config file restored everything with no problems.
