[Need Info] Trying to copy photos to disk

I think my brain is malfunctioning!! I trying to copy photos to a CD. I put the CD in. when it asks what I want to do I click on "nothing". Then I go to my computer and click on where the CD is "E" and is says "E is not assessible - incorrect function". what am I doing wrong??

Sure E is your CD drive?

Try a different CD and see if it's recognized.

The CD is empty, blank, you either have to turn the CD into a floppy disk, then copy your photos to the CD.
or you have to use your CD writing program to write the Photos to the disk.

Hope that this helps.

Putting pictures on a CD.
Put in a blank CD then open Windows Explorer, find the pictures and then drag and drop them on the CDdrive and it should start asking if you want to burn them. Follow it's lead!!!

Also, what Operating System are you using and what CD burning software do you have installed?

If you are using Windows XP and an older version of Easy CD Creator the following MS KB article may apply:

I actually figured it out. I had to go into properties and click on enable. for some reason it was checked.

Thanks - Lori

I'm assuming you mean what's shown above. I know if you have multiple burners in XP, only 1 can be enabled for recording using the XP burning utility.
