have WMP11 now in XP Pro (SP3)
how do i roll back to WMP9
any help is much appreciated

Are you saying that SP3 installed WMP11?
Because most seem to be saying that SP3 doesn't install that or IE7.

And if SP3 does install WMP11, what's the rationale from Microsoft on including that as a 'security update'?

I can see where a case might be made for IE7 being a security update, but I'd be curious to know how the case is made for WMP11 being inherently more secure than previous versions of that player.

Five bucks it was sitting in his download or install update quene. He just didn't realize he accepted to download/install it.

SP3 does not install WMP11 (or any other version).
SP3 does not install IE7.

There is no ambiguity about this.

WMP9 works on this link

Sounds like your EMBEDDING isnt working right with 11...

Here is the link to the station you listed above

Direct link: »www.mcc.com.mm/YGNCityFMNew.asx

Simply paste that into WMP11 and it should play
