Well that sucks. Is there no way citizens can get a referendum on the ballot to null and void the old agreement with charter? I bet if that many people were upset, a vote would pass (pending what you state is true). Might be something to think about. Wouldn't that be a kick in the balls to Charter LOL. Anyway, at least you got a minor alternative. Wireless isn't the best. However, it's a step up from dialup to say the least. Either way, it might be worth fighting them, who knows. |

| well charter sent a rep to the city council meeting about the whole UVERSE thing that has yet to be turned on in our state. And they city council told them in shortened form that if they were not going to provide services then they had no business telling others that they could not provide services to the community. But all we got out of that deal was a whole bunch of telco equipment all over the place and nothing turned on. But the WISP does do well and it is nice being able to talk face to face with the guy who runs it when you have a problem. Like my antenna was a little out of align last week and i called him and he had someone at my house on the roof in 20 mins flat and had me up and working like a charm. |
