| Charter is half-baked but not the way you think.
Let's see. Charter is a company that has been doing Cable TV for years before becoming a HSI or phone provider, yet only the HSI and phone are quality services that perform as expected.
For some reason, in my area, Charter TV flat out sucks. I'd swear I was watching with rabbit ears on regular channels. Their HD service is rife with pixelization, dropouts and tiling. I've had two totally different cable boxes (Moxi and SA8300HDC) and even changed houses (moved into another Charter served area) and still no improvement on the TV. However, the HSI and phone are still great. Makes me want to go back to DTV so bad I'd be willing to fell a tree in the middle of the night to get the view of the southern sky I'd need...
If I go to Charter's website, according to it I don't qualify for service, can't get my address to give me a channel guide, or anything else. Their website is pathetic.
I don't know why Charter has such trouble with cable TV. You'd think that is the one service they have the most experience and knowledge about providing...
