The HP dv6628us would appear the best overall value. No reason to buy a notebook with anything less than 2gb nowdays.

I am not a big fan of refurbished laptops however. All too often these are refurbs due to multiple problems, and not all the issues always get caught.

Not saying that it "can't" be a good deal, but I would frankly, be very wary.
