| [COLORADO] Pine Beatle kill
Just got back from a trip to Silverthorn and damn near cryed because of all the dead trees. There are whole mountainsides where all the lodgepole pines are dead and brown.
The fire potential up there is staggering and will be for years to come. From what I saw the hayman fire may seem like a campfire when the hot dry summer wind starts to blow.
I didnt have my camera, if anyone has pics please post them.
If you havent been to the tunnel in a while, be prepaired for a different view its very sad.
