said by HDJulie :Boy, I'm out of touch. I don't even know what SMBB is. We're in the South (Arkansas) which is more Cingular, I think. Sorry, SMBB stands for Sprint Mobile Broadband. I'm using a Franklin CDU-680 EVDO modem plugged in my USB port on my desktop. I use the desktop for ICS (internet Connection Sharing) to feed a Linksys 54G router for my wife's laptop. So far it makes Hughesnet seem stone age with their overloaded and full of bandwidth hogs satellites. |

| I'll have to check on the Sprint thing. As of now, I am being throttled already (3:41PM CST) so this is outside of peak times. I have to be home tomorrow at this time as well so I can call "tech support" with a legitimate complaint but I don't think it will do any good. |

| Julie I'm in central time zon too .If your being throttled it will be from 3pm central to 11 pm central which is of course 4pm till 12 am eastern . If you wanna prove it to yourself do a speedtest at exactly 2:58 your time and then do another at 3:01 and you'll see it plummet . It will saty like that and you do another at 10:58 pm and again at 11:01 pm . even though the examples I'm showing say 4 amd 12am thats because of hughes time but in my time zone and yours is 3 - 11 . This is the pattern your looking for . For people in mountain it might be 2 -10 and pacific 1 - 9 but on their hughesnet it might very well show 4-12 according to their Noc time . Also I could have predicted slaver would be back to having this problem because the pattern of fixing has been about about 7 days and then right back to the throttling . My first fix laster exactly 7 days . They fixed it again and it lasted 2 days . Then the 3rd fix lasted 2 hours . Theres definitly some criteria flagging users I think .
