Today they forecast up to 60MPH winds.

Haven't seen it too bad yet though. Just a constant flow.

Winds are here now. Wouldn't be surprised if hih clearance vehicles didn't have a problem out east.

Lot of farm land is blowing out East, looking like the Great Depression days again in spots.

The wife and I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival and Parade here in Canon City today. The sun was out but the wind had a little bite to it at first, but then eased up and it was a nice day. We had some rain yesterday but not much. The family on the old fire trucker is my son (a volunteer fire fighter), daughter-in-law, granddaughter and grandson and their dalmatian. The other picture is of some boys who are a dime shy or have lots of guts. Those long horns weren't behaving bad but they weren't docile either.

Yeah, it is a shorter distance across town than what I drove to meet you for lunch last year. We sold our house and moved down here last month. My wife was transferred down to the hospital here. We were planning on doing that in about five years but when she was here on temporary duty in December they offered her a job via transfer so we took it. She started work the 20th of Jan. I started getting the house ready to sell and then my grandson was born and with all the attendant trouble I never got it on the market until the end of March. It sold in 73 hrs. and I had to bust butt to get out by the 28th of April. We're living in an apartment right now while we look for a house. Life has just been upside down all year so far. I'm so ready for a little normalacy it is not even funny.

Those bring back memories. I haven't been to the Blossom Festival in years. We used to go every year when I was growing up there.

Thanks. They came out pretty good considering I forgot my camera and the pictures were done with my phone. I was kinda grumpy about that until I saw how they came out. As for the longhorns I'm with you, you can see the distance I kept. There was one damn fool who ran out to get a close up (apparently never heard of telephoto lenses) and spooked one of them and the rider had his hands full. The idiot should have been arrested for public endangerment and felony stupid.
