TTcntrctr101 join:2008-03-17 Santa Ana, CA	Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD/DVR (OCAP) does anyone know how to clear the memory on the SA 8300 HDC converter? I have deleted the recorded programs but when I try to record a new show it prompts me with memory is full. How can I fix this?

Madison WI join:2002-02-07	You can try a power cycle (boot) see if that helps, or it may be possiable that it has a bad/corrupt hard drive.

heels_fan No Tag Needed Premium join:2003-02-07 Columbia, TN	reply to TTcntrctr101 I never seen one that says memory is full. I have seen a million of them that says the hard drive is full. PM me and I will let you know how to reformat the hard drive in the DVR -- everyone is born ignorant. some are born stupid, others achieve stupidity and the rest have stupidity thrust upon them.
