I really checked and checked for high speed internet and the only service available for us was Wildblue. I was so excited!! Well we got the service and we have already had a service call-the eye went bad. I called today to cancel service and she told me it would cost me 660.00 dollars!! What should I do? I put in another service call but I had to join earthlink because they have no dialup numbers for backup in my area. I want to rip the dish down and sell it to someone else and tell my credit card company not to let them take any more money but can I do that? Any advice would be much appreciated |

| reply to steffie75 Steffie,
I am with WildBlue. It sounds like you are within your initial contract period. If you bought your equipment from us, then it is still under warranty. If it is defective for some reason, it can be replaced. If you don't mind, please call back to our customer service department; they can do some basic diagnostics over the phone, and schedule a technician to come to your house to replace the equipment if needed. (If your service was installed for you by a local dealer, you can also call them for some troubleshooting, at your option).
If it has been less than 90 days since your service was activated, a standard service call is free of charge. If it is more than 90 days, there is a charge for the service call.
Thank you. |

It sound like it is something minor or a defective part that needs to be replaced.

You should allow WB to come out and make a free service call to fix the problem. Your post reflects someone with a VERY quick trigger on patience!
