As welcome as an "approved" iPhone is as device in Canada. It'll be the Rogers implementation that will determine whether it sinks or swims in the marketplace IMO.
Sure it would be nice to have, but if the data plan is a screwjob, it'll fail and the iPhone goes back underground (I'm on a Telus contract until 2010, so unless Apple produces a version that would work on my network its a moot point anyways for me until then)
Heck, by 2010 maybe Rogers won't have screwed things up too badly and I might be in the market for one...
