| My WB service is through Gotsky too. My main complaint with their webspace is the use of the user name in the URL which identifies our primary email addresses. Their security is sloppy. For example, your FAP meter reads:
FAPZILLA -u williammc 4/28/2008 13:56:44 469 4227
and you have the Select Pack:
When spammers figure out how to construct our emails addresses from our webspace, we will be victimized.

| Can you simply use a secondary email address that is different than your username?
That is an excellent point though, a case where the old-school way of doing things is no longer secure against the bottom feeders. |

| reply to Spice300 Spammers must be slugs, no spam, so far, hmmmm think I've been a GotSky customer since September/October 2007.
By the way, email from that email address get forwarded to a child account, neither seen spam since using them, so far.

| reply to wgm I do not know how to change the the URL of the NRTC webspace. If I did, I would alter it to remove my user name.
I recall receiving only one spam in my primary webmail account over the last 2.5 years. It was a failure notice of a spam from some Russian that used my email address in the header. Since I have given that email address out to only a few trusted people, I have wondered if the spammer obtained it from the URL of the webspace. |
