End of Updates for Ad-Aware SE Plus & Pro?

I know that Lavasoft discontinued updates for SE Personal v1.06r1 on 12/31/2007. However, I thought that Plus and Professional users would continue getting the updates via the program updater. My copy of SE Pro will no longer update---I get an error after 5%.

Is this the end of the line for all SE users as far as updates through the GUI are concerned?

No, you can't get them anymore for SE through the updater. You can still get them manually, though it isn't certain how long that will be available. And with Ad-Aware 2008 now in final beta and due to be released next month, it is probably time to think about switching to one of the newer versions (either 2007 now or 2008 when it comes out)

OK, thanks Jane.

I really like that small-footprint on-demand scanner, but I guess it's time to move on.

SE is really outdated badly. Is this an old operating system?
