Nope it's an ADSL2+ service down our phone line. And just downloading a regular file in Firefox (from here: »fuller.zen.co.uk/test/) maxes it out.

I've found that some random requests do succeed, but most not, and some are painfully slow. I know if I'm downloading at full rate the internet connection will obviously slow down. But I would have thought I could still easily use the LAN, and log into the router etc.
