In other words if you open a page it will say "packet data" during the download....while you are reading the page, after a period of time, it will say "dormant". Once you go on to another page or whatever, it will say "packet data" again.

It's not really an error, just how the V3 and V9 display.

We were using it on a desktop with Vista and Alltel kept saying it was a Vista issue. We are now using it on a brand new Inspiron 1520 laptop with XP OS and it still does it. We have a great signal here. I don't know anything about this stuff so any help in terms that I can understand would be greatly appreciated.
