| reply to Shenandoah1776 Re: Using a Verizon/Westell 327W with another DSL Carrier
I am using a verizon version 327w on AT&T dsl. So that works.
In the WAN settings, there should be a link for "Multiple PVC". Go there and edit the settings. You need the VPI and VCI to match your ISP requirements. And you need to get the protocol right (PPPoE or bridge are the most likely to be used by your ISP). -- AT&T dsl; Westell 327w modem/router; SuSE 10.1; firefox 2.0.0.13 |

| Thanks for that info, but I've already done that and can connect to my new provider just fine. The problem I'm having is that once connected, I bring up a browser, and no matter what web address I type in, it gets changed to take me arbitrarily to Verizons Account Access page. Just cant seem to get around it. Could it be something in the device firmware? |

| What does it show for your DNS servers?
On Windows, you can check with: ipconfig /all
Also your modem should have DNS server information. Check "network statistics" on the diagnostics menu. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 327w modem/router; SuSE 10.1; firefox 2.0.0.13 |
