Good news: I live in Canada where data plans are terrible. Since I only have 12 MB of data per month, it's better for me to stick with my EDGE iPhone. Upgrading to a 3G capable one will just lead me into experiencing thousands of dollars in overage charges.....

Windsor, ON		 I know a couple of people here that have an iPhone based on a U.S. plan. However, I wasn't aware that any Canadian carriers were offering iPhones with a Canadian plan.

Where do you live?
