Why would you pay $25 even?

I use metered VOIP and @ $0.01 a minute and $1.75/month for my phone number my bill ends up being $3-5 a month.

And then there's gimmick voip like magicjack (what I'll use when the kids are old enough to eat minutes for breakfast) where you pay $40/year unlimited.
