Certainly a sticky or FAQ for decoding the Actiontec log is a good idea.

What exactly is your question? Unfortunately, the log reset when you rebooted, so no way to determine why it locked up from the log.

The log does look like a typical boot of the Actiontec. It loads the Linux kernel, low level drivers, services, and requests a DHCP address assignment. Nothing unusual there.

One odd thing, but nothing to be worried about. The SURFCONTROL entries at the top look like the old (blue Mega Control Panel) parental controls that required a paid subscription. SURFCONTROL did access cpahk.powernethk.com for it's blocking list, so I would not be worried about those entries. Support for SURFCONTROL was dropped when VZ when to the red VZ branded pages in the router (4.0.16.45.160 firmware)

What firmware are you running? If you are on reasonably current firmware, it would seem that SURFCONTROL is still embedded in the firmware even though support for it has been dropped. There were at least a few unhappy users that paid for the subscription only to find that VZ forced a firmware upgrade on them that removed support for SURFCONTROL. See this thread:

I was wondering what the SURFCONTROL was about. Thanks. I all makes sense now. Does the router produce a log when it gets frozen or crashes?

When you do a hard reset on the router, the log is lost.

BTW, what firmware revision do you have?
