Funny, I was just thinking the same thing, no posts from Starband users or iDirect users which would also fall under "other"

It could be one of three things:

1) Not enough people are willing to pay the price for the service
2) Users are not aware of this website
3) Those that use it do not have the "challenges" that Hughes and Wildblue has for their customers.

From personal experience iDirect works great but the cost is pretty steep for the residential customer.

I think when I left starband (still have the dish on my roof) back in 2005 there were around 30,000 or 40,000 customers, which seemed like a lot until wildblue came on the scene and quickly surpassed that and now by a factor of 10... But then the whole starband merger with/buyout by spacenet and I'm not sure how things stack now. I think that stabilized their network, but I don't know if they've picked up new customers as I haven't seen much mention/advertisement for starband -- seems heavily overshadowed by wildblue and hughes.
