Who cares if he gets prison time or not. If he does, someone else will take his place. If he doesn't he'll start right back up again.

They aren't cutting off the head of the snake. If the government truly wants to stop spam they need to take out the companies paying people like him. But they don't.

Just like illegal aliens. Sending them back does nothing. Start putting fines on the companies that hire them and see how fast they stop coming here.

This sums it up right here.

The email system is flawed. We are using a system that was created 20+ years ago. Spam is a monster problem and placing this guy in prison will do nothing to stop it. Sure, his spam is gone, but we will have more people pop up to take his place.

The problem with that is the majority of companies that advertise via spam (penis enlargement/pharmaceuticals) are in countries that don't care about our laws.
